Well if u were once a fan, u should know better! Let’s just face it: Modern professional sport is not just sport anymore, it’s also about money! In this case, every team is involved with money, who’s gonna win a title then eh?
And probably because I’m not a local fan so I don’t get to experience what happened after a match, when people fight or some other things like that. But it’s their choice to do so! If they can’t control themselves, fine! We just have to make sure that we don’t become one of them. I just don’t get why it’s a reason that u quit being a fan. Maybe I’m too naive, but I really thought it should be a lifelong passion…
Finally, about the part of continuously shouting we will win next season. I agree it might be too optimistic. But it might also be a symbol for not giving up. When it comes to money, Liverpool sure is not the biggest club in english football now, what we have is the glorious history. All we’re doing is try to linger onto the history we have and hoping that a new page will be written soon enough so we’d move on.
